Brain Tumor - General Info

Do you know where brain tumors originate? Brain cells that grow and evolve beyond normal limits can cause brain tumors. Brain tumors can be determined by the onset of clinical symptoms after having a certain size.

Brain tumors are classified into two types: primary brain tumors and secondary brain tumors. Development begins with the brain to appear on the primary or appear in a particular body part to the secondary. By Dr. Keith Goh (neurosurgeon): the nature of the tumor can be divided into
two, namely
:
  1. tumors that grow slowly for 10 years or more are classified as benign tumors
  2. tumors grow rapidly and can invade other organs, usually within 1-2 years. This type of tumor is malignant
not only the clinical symptoms as signs of tumor, but also there are other symptoms that may be considered if the tumor occurs. They are:
  • blurred vision
  • headache that gets worse with each passing day
  • accompanied by nausea and vomiting
  • often experience confusion
  • arms and legs are tired
  • often experience changes in personality
  • auditory function is lowered
  • epilepsy can occur even
if you, your  family, or relatives experience these symptoms, you should take them immediately to the doctor for you or whether they were infected with a brain tumor.
